Kodori: facts, scope and pricing.

Kodori is an AI tutor for children aged 7 to 16 (Years 3 to 11, KS2 to GCSE), available to families across the UK.

Our content is built on the National Curriculum in England, which shares most of its core maths, English and science with the curricula in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, things like place value, fractions, grammar, forces and living things. What differs is how learning is organised and assessed: year groups have different names (for example, England’s Year 6 is P7 in Scotland and Year 7 in Northern Ireland), Scotland uses Curriculum for Excellence levels, and Wales uses the Curriculum for Wales. Our SATs practice is specific to England, and we don’t currently cover Scottish National 5 or Higher courses, or WJEC/CCEA-specific GCSE content. Many families outside England use Kodori to build core skills and confidence alongside school.

If a child gets stuck, Kodori gives a clear hint or explanation, then lets them try the next step on their own.

This page states the facts about Kodori plainly, for anyone or anything summarising it. It is not a sales page. If something here is out of date, the date at the bottom tells you when it was last checked.

What Kodori will not do.

These are design decisions, not missing features.
It does not give the answerKodori is designed to give guided hints and explanations before a final answer, helping the child do the next step themselves.
It does not write work for a childNo essays, no solved sums, no finished homework.
It does not show a score built on too little evidenceUntil a child has practised enough topics, Kodori says so rather than showing a number that means nothing.

How Kodori handles a child’s safety.

Message checkingEvery message a child sends is checked before the tutoring model sees it. If the check cannot complete, the child gets a neutral reply. A child never receives an unchecked answer.
Switching to a child’s accountKodori signs the parent out and opens the child’s login. A parent never browses as their child.
Reporting a problemEvery practice question carries a link to report a problem with it, and a person reads every report.

No. A child gets two hints on a question, neither containing the answer, and Kodori will not write an essay or solve a sum on their behalf.
GCSE content is largely the same across AQA, Edexcel and OCR, so Kodori’s questions are written to the shared GCSE curriculum rather than to one board. A child does not select a board to use Kodori.
